Most parts available i.e. carpets, boot carpet, centre console, syncro badges and loads of other parts.
Don't know about rules here? but prices for the above are: - Carpet, grey (front & back) £40 ono - Boot carpet, black £35 ono - Centre Console £15, have a couple of these - Syncro badges, two sides, rear one and glovebox badge £40
Have all the 4WD (still on car)
Any questions or for pictures please ask

| It looks too good to break, why are you breaking it? |

I'm breaking as it's got a problem with the loom where someones been at it an now have no power to the spark side of things, also got another syncro that I'll be putting parts on so this seems the most viable option?
I'm located in Southampton, SO30 |

Why not fit another motor loom and sell it as a going concern? these cars are getting rarer by the day, and it really does look too good to break
I will check if the motor loom is the same as the 2wd carb model one. |

| Just lost interest in the car and my other one needs parts, its also worth a huge amount more in parts than as a going concern |

You're breaking it just because of an electrical issue? FFS, please don't. As Chris says, they're really rare cars now.
In my opinion it isn't really worth a great deal more in parts. That car should easily fetch £1000 or so on eBay because it looks nice and original (except it has had the large bumpers fitted, which are easily changed back). All the MK2 Syncros I see on eBay these days are trashed, certainly not as nice as that one. There's really FA to the electrical side of things, especially on a carb motor.
The only bits that are really worth anything separately are things like the carpets, centre console, etc. Basically, cosmetic parts. The Syncro transmission itself isn't worth much people want Rallye components. Okay, perhaps the boot floor is worth £100 or so. Asking £40 for the old badges is a joke, as they're easily available for buttons on German eBay brand new.
Don't break it. |

| Yes, and the 2WD G60 Golf also had the high tunnel & short console, so even they are not as rare as people think. |

| I mean, f*ck it - I'd even be tempted to get myself down to Southampton to fix the wiring for you just to make sure it's saved... heh. |
